Biography
Thomas Michael Rubick was a painter and illustrator/designer with over thirty years of professional experience. He earned a BA from California State University at Long Beach and an MA from Kent State University.
He co-founded Rubick & Funk Graphic Design in Eugene, Oregon, and served as Coordinator of the Graphic Design Program at Lane Community College from 1988 to 2007. He taught for five years as an adjunct instructor at the University of Oregon and instructed in the Art Department at Lane Community College for twenty-one years.
Tom passed away in July 2009. With characteristic wit and tenderness, he wrote his own obituary.
